The beautiful Garden Route in South Africa, extending 300 km along the south and south east coast and extends from Mossel Bay in the Western Cape to the Storms River in the Eastern Cape.

Mossel Bay: 24km

Shark Cage diving: Mossel Bay on the Garden Route has probably the most accessible Great White Sharks in the world. The bay is very much protected in the winter months and the sea conditions are normally calm and comfortable. Seal Island in Mossel Bay is only 2km from the harbour and very close to the local beach. The ride to the island takes only 10 minutes so is ideal for people worried about sea sickness. In the summer months the boat works with the sharks on the far side of the bay which is a 20-30 minute ride and most of the days the conditions are good.

Freaking Fast Waverider – A new & exciting activity (10-15 minutes) High adrenaline, high speed and wave jumping boat trip that can accommodate up to 12 people from ages 10+. Departing from Mossel Bay Harbour Waterfront , the trip will take you around Seal Island at speeds that may exceed 120 KM/H (weather and sea conditions permitting).

● Cango Caves: 29km from Oudtshoorn, at the head of the picturesqueCango Valley, lie the spectacular underground wonder of the Klein Karoo – the Cango Caves. Situated in a limestone ridge parallel to the well known Swartberg Mountains, you will find the finest dripstone caverns, with their vast hallsand towering formations

● The Cango Wildlife Ranch: The facility has been in existence for 30 years and currently comprises of over 90 different species of animals and 100 full-time staff. They provide guided tours which are fundamental in their education programs, giving each species a voice, and enlightening the public on animal and environmental issues.

● Meerkat Adventures: Meerkats are part of the so-called Shy 5 which also includes the bat-eared fox, the aardvark, porcupine and aardwolf. The meerkat tours last between 2-3 hours and booking is essential. Upon arrival at the meerkat burrows, guests are treated to a hot cup of coffee, after which they are issued with a lightweight aluminum chair to sit in while observing the meerkats as they come out of the burrow into the sunshine and then go about their daily routine of foraging and frolicking. These habituated wild animals are never fed or handled by humans.
